The self-proclaimed "Malt Disney" distillery tour and tasting was well worth the price of admission! The tour was incredible and the theatre and performance that went into the tour by the staff was genuinely quite impressive! The rooftop bar also has some amazing views of Edinburgh. Worth a visit if the weather is good!

My sister and I visited and were amazing at the whole experience -(Thanks to Lindsay at Bramble for the rec!) Top notch from start to finish. Definitely treat yourself to a rooftop bar experience with panoramic views before and/or after the tasting for some of the best city views. The tour was as informative as it was entertaining- Lori and Eduarda were absolutely wonderful. We also had such an amazing time selecting collectors items to take home including a personalized engraved bottle that we filled ourselves! Ru was a delight during our personalization experience and Kara made some wonderful recommendations for a limited collectors item. Im excited to take home several wonderful, tasty takeaways! Highly recommend this experience!!

What an above expected experience! This was the best overall whisky tasting experience I have ever had the pleasure of. 10/10 and I would do it again. Laurie, as our tour guide Eduarda, as our story teller and Ru and Kara as our retail experts helping find the perfect whisky and personalizing the experience for us. Loved it from top to bottom. It’s a must do in Edinburgh! 💗

My partner and I received this experience as a gift for Christmas, and let me tell you we did not know what to expect. When we walked into the tour, we were greeted by the delightful Rachel who would be our guide for the next 80 minutes. Let me rephrase that, the best 80 minutes of our lives. After a short introduction from Rachel, we were thrilled to meet the one and only, Thomas. Thomas took us through a showstopping, groundbreaking performance explaining the history of Johnnie Walker and let’s just say we were left flabbergasted. Leonardo DiCaprio had a great performance in the Titanic but this did not compare to what Thomas did on stage. Let’s just say, we were incredibly moved. Rachel then took us for our first cocktail, a Johnnie Walker highball. We were able to customise this based on our taste and preferences. Yummy. We proceeded to our next room where Rachel taught us about the beauty of whiskey making. I really felt like I was right there with the whiskey masters. Maybe I, one-day could become a whiskey master like them. Next, the doors opened and we proceeded through the corridor down to a cinematic masterpiece. In symphony with the lights Rachel highlighted the Johnnie walker lineup. Different aged whiskeys from different regions, blended in different ways in an immersive light show. Wonderful. To conclude our tour, we were brought to another bar where we were offered not one but two more drinks. We had the option of choosing between another highball, an old-fashioned or a good old classic dram. Once again, we were able to cater these to our own individual palette. And this leads us to writing our review. Right now, we are sat on the rooftop bar 13 cocktails deep. 10 out of 10, would do again. Rachel and Thomas, you superstars. My Johnnie Walker Experience in Edinburgh was absolutely amazing—hands down a 10/10! The entire tour was super interactive and engaging, making it such a fun and memorable experience. Our tour guide, Julie, was fantastic—so sweet, witty, and full of energy, which made the tour even better. One of the highlights was getting served three whiskey cocktails throughout the tour, and let me tell you—they were absolutely delicious! I never thought I’d say this, but…I think I’m officially a whiskey girl now. If you’re in Edinburgh, this is definitely a must-do experience. Highly recommend it!

From the moment you walk through the doors, it says 'class'. Archie, our guide, greeted us with enthusiasm. He was highly professional throughout. Michael, the Storyteller, was superb. You don't have to like whisky in the slightest to enjoy this experience. Andrew and Michael will make your day, as for us, one to remember.

The Johnnie Walker Whisky Explorer Experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was immersive, informative, and so much fun. I've thought about this tour every day since experiencing it. Absolutely transformative. This is the closest we'll ever get to the Wonka factory. I'm not a whisky guy but I'd do this every day if I could.

Absolutely fantastic, the whole tour from the start to finish was brilliant Zack and Paula really made the experience with their brilliant knowledge and enthusiasm. Not a big fan of whisky although from this I now know how to make and drink it and enjoy! I booked the Journey of Flavour tour on the basis that it was starting in 10 minutes. For £30, including 3 drinks, my expectations weren't high. From the outset I was impressed with the energy and engagement of the staff and the impressive, slick effects used to tell the story of Johnnie Walker whisky. The content was predictable, but the effects and dynamism of the way in which it was told consistantly surprised. The only negative was that it felt like we were on a bit of a conveyer belt and the guide's delivery had to synchronise with the screens and effects, resulting in more of a performance than an interaction - and she was a little snippy with other guests who were talking during the performance (it must be annoying). Either way, it was a great experience and I would certainly return for other tours. On Princes Street you might expect a tourist trap, and I suppose it is, but it's a really good one.

Lovely staff,didn't feel pressured to buy any thing at all cery informative about whiskey had a couple of testers. I really wanted a tshirt or sweater but sizes only go up to 2xl .so left empty handed
